                          Sub: Promotion from JWM to AWM Cadre – Reg

                          Ref- Member/Per Meeting with Association on 03/10/2018

Respected Sir,

            On behalf of the members of the National Defence Group’B’ Gazetted Officers Association,I extend my heartiest congratulations on your assumption of charge as Honorable DGOF & Chairman. We sincerely hope that Ordnance Factories will undergo a radical positive change under your esteemed leadership. The Central Executive Committee of this Association requests your kind intervention and necessary action on following long pending burning issues pertaining to JWM cadre at the earliest please.

1.    Promotion from JWM to AWM- It is brought to your kind notice that all the promotion in Ordnance factory Board are being Operated except promotion from JWM to AWM for the last four Years (2014-2018). Many senior JWMs were fully demoralised and also some of them are retired without getting promotion to JTS (AWM) Post. This is a clear ignorance of OFB towards a single cadre in Ordnance Factories Organisation. Your kind and earliest intervention and necessary action is requested in this regardplease.

2.    Cadre Restructuring of JWM and PS Cadre- It is brought to your kind notice that, Cadre Restructuring of JWM Cadre is not being carried out by OFB for last decades except modification by consequent Pay Commissions. In the last meeting with Member/Per (03/10/2018) it was decided to form a committee for making a cadre review of JWM and PS cadre but till date it has not been initiated.

3.    Transfer Policy for JWM and PS Cadre- In this regard also Member/Personnel assured in the meeting to make a committee for framing new transparent transfer policy with view of stake holder but OFB has not taken any initiation till date.

                 Central Executive Committee requests your earliest intervention and necessary action for above issues at the earliest please.
