Recent
information at OFB and MOD and our activities of our Association.
1- Issue
of Brief Case to all the Gazetted Officer in all the unit of ordnance factories- Circular
for provision of Brief Case/Hand Bag for
Official use to Gazetted Officers in
Ordnance Factories will be published by OFB
shortly.
2- Promotion
from JWM to AWM- Promotion order from JWM to AWM is expected to be published
within 1st week of JUNE.
3- Liaison
cell at Proof Establishments- Association letter- NDGBGOA/CE/21/2014-04
dated 04/04/2014 was appreciated by Member A&E and further action will be
taken at OFB very shortly.
4- Cadre
Review of JWMs- Cadre Review proposal has been forwarded to MOD in which OFB has not mentioned about the non Functional up gradation and has not increase the no of post in PB- III as discussed in the joint meeting(12/03/2014). General Secretary visited OFB and MOD for clarification and finally the proposal sent by OFB was opposed by NDGBGOA due to following reasons.
- AT present many JWMs are availing Grade pay of 6600 by means of MACP (30 YEARS) which can not be possible in future, as OFB has proposed for Section Manager in Grade Pay 5400 PB-II and Senior Section Manager in Grade Pay of 5400 PB-III without mentioning Non Functional Up Gradation . This proposal will make financial loss to the JWM cadre.
- There should be only one non functional up Gradation in JWM i.e in Grade pay of 5400 in PB-III which will not affect financial benifit by means of MACP. More over there will not be any financial repercussion as those JWMs who will be placed at PB-II would have crossed the minimum limit of PB-III (15600).
- The promotional hierarchy of JWM (SG) should not be in same pay band of PB-III and Grade Pay of 5400 (AWM).The promotion hierarchy should be in the next Grade Pay of 6600 (WM).
5- TRANSFER OF JWMs- Transfer of JWMs in compassionate ground may be published very soon. Meeting for the second phase of compassionate ground transfer will be held by OFB in this week.
6- INCENTIVE FOR JWMs- NDGBGOA has demanded Incentive to all the JWMs and PS at par with RAILWAY. The matter has taken up at OFB and MOD.
